Headteacher's welcome

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our website. I have been lucky enough to be the headteacher of this incredible school since joining in 2014 and I am extremely proud of the of excellent education and care that we provide.  

At Silverdale Primary Academy, we have a wonderful staff family who are dedicated to doing the best for every child. Our curriculum drives learning and our teachers are experts on how children learn effectively. 

We place our children at the heart of all we do and pride ourselves on knowing each child individually and appreciating what makes them unique. We value diversity and are invested in providing a school that is inclusive to all children. We are passionate that every child at Silverdale will be the best they can be, and all adults have nothing but the highest of expectations. We offer a curriculum that is ambitious, well planned and sequenced from Nursery through to Year 6. Our curriculum focuses on empowering children with the knowledge that they will need to successfully transition into secondary school. Our curriculum is enriched with opportunities for children to develop education with character. 

We are fortunate to be part of the large, national multi-academy trust, United Learning, who provide further expertise in which to continue to strengthen the education we provide. We are also committed to building effective local links with neighbouring schools. 

We expect the highest standards of behaviour; expect children to attend every day and expect full support from families. The best way to get to know Silverdale is to come and visit us and see first-hand the strength in our relationships and the excitement of learning that fills every room.
