Newcastle-under-Lyme School’s Head Boy and Girl pay a visit to Silverdale Primary Academy

Published on Friday, October 6, 2017

The Head Boy and Head Girl for Newcastle-under-Lyme School paid a visit to Silverdale Primary Academy this week, helping prepare the pupils for the move from primary to secondary school.

Will Green and Frankie Panayi talked to Year 6 pupils about life in a secondary school, what it involves and the fantastic opportunities it creates for people, helping give the youngsters a real flavour of what they can expect.

Commented Silverdale Primary Academy’s Headteacher Lindi Nejrup:

“It was really inspirational for the children to hear from Will and Frankie as to what they can expect when they leave here to move up into secondary school. It was also particularly helpful, as we are also looking to have our own Head Boy and Head Girl here at Silverdale, so it gave us some good ideas. A big thank you to Newcastle under Lyme School for its help in organising this event.”
