COFFEE, CAKE AND ADVICE…
~Silverdale Primary Academy and local agencies hold charity coffee morning, raising over £100 for Macmillan Cancer Support~
Coffee, cake and free advice was on the menu when Silverdale Primary Academy teamed up with local agencies to hold a charity coffee morning.
The event, held last week, gave parents the opportunity to speak to staff and members of the local health and education services. Refreshments were also available (including coffee and cake of course!), with the school raising over £100 for Macmillan Cancer Support
Ruth Barlow, Family Liaison Officer for Silverdale Primary Academy explained:
“Silverdale Primary Academy is very much a school at the heart of its community and we’re always pleased when we are able to work with our colleagues in other agencies to provide our parents with advice and guidance. It’s doubly rewarding when we are able to raise funds for a very worthwhile charity such as Macmillan Cancer Support at the same time.”
